I have had a very good experience so far as an experienced new driver at Leonard's Express out of their Caldwell, Idaho Terminal. The people in the office are all so welcoming and friendly. The shop crew is top notch. Pay and benefits are great. I also love my Northwest lanes and the load planning has been courteous in giving me enough time to pick up and deliver without sacrificing the time I need to shower and take care of my dog on the road. The only reason I'm giving Leonard's 4 stars instead of 5 is because you have to choose between the sign on bonus and the tuition reimbursement benefit which isn't an unfair policy if that was made clear beforehand but it does not say that anywhere on their ads or on their website and I didn't find out until after I completed orientation. I also wish they ran more 13 speed transmissions. I was hoping to get a 13 speed but my recruiter couldn't promise anything. Unfortunately I'm in an auto for now but I sure do miss driving a standard transmission. No company is perfect, there are things I would change but I don't know what it's like to run a fleet of trucks so I won't get all nit-picky. The industry is changing and I'm excited to watch this company grow and be a part of it.

Great company to drive for! They have so many good things to offer a driver. Great pay, insurance benefits start on the 1st of the month after your hire date and they have the lanes to get you the home time you need. Check it out!

Yes we have automatic trucks. No there are no dedicated runs.
Training is great . Leonards is a great company to work for. At Leonards we are all family. You would see the owners working out there with you. If you looking for a company where you most likely stay Leonards is the place to go to .

The pay & mileage is decent. I don't know the new pay scale, but it's not hard to look up. It's based on years experience & years with company. Great company to work for. Open door policy. Good people.

They allow dogs up to a certain size. Not allowed to take like a 90 pound dog with u. I believe it has to be below 20 pounds. Not exactly sure on size.
