Haven't finished putting in the windows yet. Also alot of the ones they are putting in are broken so we shall see how it all gets handled. Going on 6 days now and no call back . I understand they are short staffed in office from what the installers say but.....2 star for now can update in the future just been a longer process than it should have been. Well it's been another couple weeks after leaving another message and I haven't heard anything back hopefully all this rain won't do any damage and get underneath anything. I'll keep you all posted hopefully you have a better luck with this company. Adding on now Sept 27th still have not heard back from anyone . I talked to corporate and they said they would get a hold of Buffalo Window World and when mediate in between and have not heard back anything from either one. Anybody have any suggestions what to do next let me know. As far as I can tell they have no customer service at this place

A Nightmare dealing with this company. Go anywhere else. You would not believe the anguish in trying to talk to these people. Don't even think of buying anything from this place.

Horrible customer service, if any at all! Been trying to get someone to call us back about a " minor" problem. Windows bought 20 years ago, but have "lifetime guarantee", right!? When you call they say they will call you back, NEVER!!! After waiting 3 months for a part to come in, they made appointment for a Monday, 9-noon. NO CALL, NO SHOW!!! Can't get anyone to answer phone, or if you leave msg, they NEVER call you back! 1st guy, Jamie, came out. Super angry, told us WE "broke" window! Lifetime guarantee, right?! He was to repair 2 windows, but only brought 1 with him, when it was 2 windows that needed repairs, oh well he said. He should never be allowed to work with public!! He told us we called too many times!! He was able to repair the 2 windows with parts ordered and just left the 1 window, he brought, with me. When he left, we got ahold of Window World (they actually answered the phone). Told them how he treated us and that we would never let him in our house again! Two days later they sent out another rep. This was a maybe 19yr old, very nice, kid to "talk" to us to try to "smooth" things over what happened the day before. This kid had worked for the company about 4 months and he worked in the warehouse. He had never installed a window before and had no tools with him, but he proceeded to take out my kitchen window and tried to replace it with the one Jamie left when he came, but did not need to use. He was struggling with the window and as he pulled it down and out he hit my faucet and broke it! He struggled and tried to put in the "new" window to find out it was 1/8" too tall and would not fit!! So had to try to pull it back out and put the original one back in!! This place is a nightmare!!! Now we went right to showroom to talk to someone else about broken faucet. Told us someone would call us next day! NO CALL,again!!! Called corporate office to complain about this office, they could care less! This company should be shut down! Terrible company, terrible, if any at all, customer service!! RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!

The install was great along with the crew who did it, but they are a third party crew that window world hires not official employees. The actual process leading up to the install was a nightmare. We went through the whole winter with boarded up windows, broken glass, and a direct winter breeze throughout the house and window world did nothing to try to speed up the process to meet THEIR original promise date. In fact, the process was delayed multiple times because they couldn't locate our windows, couldn't find a driver, or couldn't expedite anything with the warehouse. If I had realistic expectations of when my windows would have been here it wouldn't have been an issue but the salesperson guaranteed install in December when we ordered in October. We didn't get our windows until March. One of our windows also arrived cracked so who knows how long we are going to have to wait for that replacement piece of glass. My experience with the staff is that once you sign up for their windows no one cares about your experience from there. I opened up about my concerns and wanted answers with no sympathy or concern back. You're providing me a service and clearly no one took pride in easing any concerns or working towards meeting expectations. You'd think after all of this they would offer some kind of extra assistance or compensation for the hell we were put through this winter, but I haven't heard a peep since the install. Guess you can just wipe your hands clean of another unsatisfied customer. I have a $10,000 door replacement, patio door install, and 10 more windows that I need done alone and my family member was looking to have a full window replacement on a mansion renovation (approx 49 windows). I would have loved to give window world all of that business, but after the lack of customer service and concern for our situation I will not be looking to have anything else serviced by them. 8/30: UPDATE: THE CRACKED WINDOW STILL ISN'T REPAIRED!! There isn't even a tentative date and they are just as unreliable as before with 0 communication or follow up. Awful business practice.

Make sure you have the right number , and you can call the sales person who sold them to you , he should have gave you a card 😳

I Need a part for my window- I believe these are free per their website: All mechanical parts (locks, vent locks, balance) are warranted to be free from manufactured defects. Replacement parts will be supplied at no charge. How do I get this?

You need to go on their website,provide the serial # for the window you need the part for,I waited 6 months,you might be better off going to there shop in person,I needed an upper window that the seal was defective

Does anyone know if they are still in business? Can't reach anyone there and they've had my deposit since October.
