Hilton Garden Inn is a scam, never give them your credit card information, especially over the phone. We made a reservation over the phone for 4 nights, from July 28 until - August 1. We were supposed to pay a deposit for the first night, so we gave the agent my credit card information to pay $168, the amount of the first night. The agent also told us that we can change the reservation if there was a valid reason; flight cancelation is always a valid reason. A few days later, on July 25 (2 days prior to our hotel reservation), we received an email from the airlines that the flight was canceled, and we had to reschedule to July 31. I also happened to check my bank account and saw that the hotel took $777.40 from my account. Not only did they take an amount we did not authorize, but it was also more than the amount of 4 nights, which was supposed to be around $670. We immediately called the hotel front desk, and they told us to call Hilton Guest Assistance. After several hours of speaking to the supervisor, she told us she heard the recorded conversation with the hotel agent during the reservation, and said she can confirm that it was an agent mistake. She created a case to try and get us a refund, and said they’ll call back within 3 days to inform us of the resolution and refund. On July 27, we called again to see if they resolved the case, especially since the initial booking was coming up, on July 28, and we didn’t want that to cause a problem. We spoke to another supervisor and informed him of our concerns and the flight cancelation, he took the flight information and confirmed that it was canceled. He tried to change the reservation to Jul 31, but then informed us that the reservation was non-changeable, meaning the agent who made the reservation lied about this as well!!! On July 29, we called once again to follow up on the case, as it has been 4 days at this point. We spoke to another supervisor, only to find out that the case was “resolved”. I checked my bank account again, and saw that they took another $81 from my credit card!!! Not only did they lie, they also kept my credit card information, and stole more than once. To make things worse, we then receive an email from the Operations Director, stating their stance has remained the same the entire time, and they are willing to refund half the funds they took from my account. What a joke! Please save your time and money and stay away from this scam! I spoke to my bank to block the merchant and refund the amounts they took, and I’m so glad they were able to help!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 nights in April and the hotel was great. My room was very clean, as were the elevators, snack area, and lobby area. The halls stayed quiet both late at night and early in the morning. The only issue I had was the bed, the mattress was not very supportive. Despite that, I would still stay at this hotel again if I was had to travel to the area.

Rooms are kinda plain. But tidy. Our fridge made a lot of noise, but maybe it's just more noticeable because it's not like we have kitchen appliances in our bedroom at home. Haha. Pool was empty when we used it both times, but looked well kept, all be it older. And the food and desk service was AMAZING. The food and staff definitely made the whole visit worth it. Elevator is in a convenient spot and I didn't get a chance for the exercise room. But I don't got to hotels to work out, personally. Anyway, very cozy lobby. Close to lots of places like fast food, family restaurants, Walmart, festival foods, banks, atms, etc. Right across from Liberty Hall banquet hall. Which is convenient if you are attending/hosting an event like a wedding reception.

Overall, our stay here was ok. The staff was very pleasant, however, we were put into a room that was undergoing some plumbing repairs and they didn't tell us that. Only about 15 rooms were having these repairs done, so I am not sure why we weren't put in a room that wasn't being worked on. This was never verbalized when we checked in. The hotel wasn't full. We found out about this when we went to use the water in our room and nothing came out. We had no water in the morning for brushing teeth, taking showers, coffee or anything. After we realized we didn't have water, we noticed a sign posted in the elevator that a block of rooms would have water shut off but again, nobody told us this upon arrival. They also charge $9.00 for their breakfast which consisted of some toast, stale bagels and other mediocre bakery. Cold cereal was an added charge. Anything else (pancakes, waffles, etc.) had to be purchased from an overpriced menu. This stay was a bit disappointing.

Pantry items can be paid at the Front Desk or charged to your room. Or you can also use a credit card. 😁
