The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly (especially the morning staff) and they had a nice hot breakfast (pancakes and waffles). For an out of town tournament, this was the perfect stop for us.

Positive: Nothing except the cust service lady was great at tryin to help get us new sheets on our beds and getting us checked in even though she failed as she was new and had to call someone to do it somewhere in the hotel. Negative: the air conditioner constantly ran, there were crusty stains on the sheets, their was dirt and crud on the floor from them painting the rooms, the hot tub did not work, the free breakfast was make yourself and the pancake maker did not work

Even during a "remodel" they were really good. The new paint is beautiful and welcoming. Front desk gal was beyond helpful. Definitely will be staying here more often. Not a 5 star because the continental breakfast didn't have bacon. ;-) 😉

I am not one to leave a bad review, as I always try to stay positive, but AmericInn needs to know this. Although, they had a sign saying they were painting by the desk, we were not informed about this when we booked our suite. We booked one of the “nicest” rooms at this hotel, thinking we were getting a nice whirlpool and fireplace in our suite. We were wrong. What we got was paint and tape everywhere and on everything. Our room was not vaccumed, or cleaned well. There was paint on the bed sheets as well as one of the cupboards was almost falling off! The hotel looks nothing like the pictures online, and the service was poor, and not welcoming. I would not recommend AmericInn, especially the one in Eau Claire, WI on Texaco drive.
