What a mind-blowingly good vet. Absolutely unbelievably good. It's hard enough to find a Vet in Binghamton, never mind a very who will see someone last minute with a small pet. I literally called 15 vets in the Binghamton area and nobody would see us. The Dr was very kind, thorough and honestly just wonderful. I cannot say thank you enough.

Dr. Sobel is a lifesaver. Although this practice specializes in cats, Dr. Sobel also has experience with parrots and took excellent care of my cockatoo when he broke a blood feather and needed it removed. This is a minor injury that can become serious if left untreated too long. The bird can bleed out. We had a negative experience at Cornell’s emergency hospital when we were turned away by an inexperienced resident who didn’t think the wound needed attention. I found through a review that Dr. Sobel saw birds and had avian experience I was absolutely relieved. The office fit me in immediately and I was so impressed with their knowledge of how to handle parrots with stress-free techniques. Dr. Sobel has a ton of practical experience with birds and a wonderful bedside manner with them. I’ve since started the process of transferring the care of my other birds to The Cat Doctor after having to drive three hours to NJ to see an avian-certified vet. If you’re seeing this - Cornell’s avian vets don’t take new patients. Dr. Sobel is kind, down to earth, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to do additional research if she doesn’t immediately have a solution. She consults with avian specialists as needed. I’m so grateful to her, the techs, and the entire staff at The Cat Doctor. My birds have the best vet in town!

Honestly there's a lot of reasons that can't happen...

I have become friends with a feral cat. She recently had 5 kittens. I'd like to have the mother cat spayed. How much is the cost?
