I asked a older gentleman for a product and he replied "If we have it, it is on the wall" and he went to the next customer and never left the register even with no customers. Another female employee told me to look around outside where they might have it. Needless to say I never found what I was looking for. Two sad facts: Country Max actually paid these two to do nothing and I will never be back.

Will not shop here anymore!!! Everybody seems to have an attitude. Managers and higher up are absolutely nasty and rude! pet food had maggots in it. That’s so disgusting!

Great place to buy baby chickens. Nice selection of garden needs.

Please train all your staff as to what a "pinky" is... I've called ahead twice to be told they were in stock but only fuzzies were in stock. Staff seems to not know the difference.

Yes, saw them today.
No. They sell horse feed though.
They usually have rabbits... I don't think an employee will ever answer this. I'd just call them.

Call or ask in person for any legal exotic animal that you or someone with maybe interested in.
You will need to contract your local store directly to find out this information. They may also have it on their website countrymax.com.
The link James Taylor put up will tell you clinic dates. They are also posted in the stores and you can call your local store directly.
Rabbits are $40 plus tax. Depending on the hamster the prices vary. Robos are $15 and Teddy Bears are $20, both plus tax. Unless you have a cage or pen already expect to spend another $150+for rabbit pen and probably $75+for a proper hamster cage, food and such. Both animals require a lot more room than you think. Stay away from starter kits, they are never big enough. Hamsters should have 3 to 4 square feet per hamster. Rabbits should be potty trained and allowed to be with you. They can be little cuddle bugs and will follow you around once they bond. Just make sure either animal has enough room to live. Do your research first, both are HUGE commitments. Don't just get one because "it's cute," they require a lot of work to socialize, feed, clean, etc. Rabbits shouldn't be cages all the time, they like to be with their people once bonded. Hamsters can be the same way. Hamsters require a minimum of 3" deep of bedding and spot cleaned daily. Don't make decision lightly please!
Yes, they sell all kinds of small animal cages. I do advise getting the biggest cage possible if you are looking at getting a rabbit or any kind of small animal. Most cage kits they sell as "rabbit starter kits" are usually too small or just big enough but no the best for the animal. If you can't afford to get the largest then please reconsider. Think of how you may feel if you had to live in just your bathroom. Having to eat, sleep, groom and go to the bathroom in the small space all the time, that is how the animal is going to feel. Also, rabbits need a lot of time and attention, they aren't a set it and forget it kind of animal they are social. They need time with their human and time outside the cage to run and play. Sorry to go on, but I see a lot of small animals in shelters and on Craigslist that people "don't have time for anymore" because they didn't realize that a pet is a commitment of not only love but time and attention. Good luck and hope my answer helps.
