Best place to see colorful rocks on the shores of Lake Superior. I found this beach to have more colorful rocks than any beach on the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We did go right after it rained. Wet rocks help to bring out the beauty of the rocks.

One of my favorite beaches on Lake Superior. Very low key and off the beaten path. The beach is sand but has a lot of beautiful rocks if you like to hunt for them. I went first week of December so if you can handle the cold you will pretty much have the whole beach to yourself.
