Are there park hours? I'd like to possibly park here and quietly setup for Northern Lights photos is only reason I ask. Probably in off season as well.

When can you see the northern lights?

I believe that the park is technically "closed" after dark. However that doesn't stop anyone from hunting for yooper rocks or shooting photography. I think their concern is they just don't want people swimming after dark is all.
