I recently got married at Ashton Gardens March 28th, 2022. Yes it was a Monday wedding lol. First off, I do want to say that this is a BEAUTIFUL venue. By far one of the best in Atlanta (even for couples on a budget). It was an all inclusive wedding venue. Overall, I want to give my experience with Ashton Gardens a 7/10. Mainly because I do think that this venue could work on a few things. First, the start time could be earlier. Not allowed in bridal suite until 11:00a. When I arrived, a worker there did not know there was a wedding. Wedding starts at 4:00pm (in which it did not). I had 3 bridesmaids and then me that needed to get our makeup done. At 2p, we started to get rushed. My bridesmaids had 3 hours to get their makeup done. I did not get my makeup done until 2:30p. Makeup was simple glam. Our makeup artist (who was amazing) took her time to create a masterpiece on everyone’s face. NOT her fault. At that time, the coordinator Kaylin arrived and began asking me questions about things I could not answer. Keep in mind, I was NOT dressed yet. I was getting nervous and my coordinator started to rush things. Kaylin is very nice but I do believe she could work on her patience. As a bride, I was already nervous and Kaylin was not helping. I ultimately had to push the start time back 15mins. I was not able to wear the jewelry I desired to wear. If I was allowed into the bridal suite at maybe 10a, things would have went a lot better. Secondly, The doors were open at the complete WRONG time and it almost spoiled the moment. On top of that, my coordinator was moving so fast that the photographer was not able to get my mother walking down the aisle sadly. Third, we were supposed to have a security guard present. We were short that. He did not show up until the last hour. Please do not be fooled with the word “inclusive”. You are still paying for that. A final details meeting is to insure everything is right with your timeline. I was given three hours of open bar. I discussed with Kaylin that I wanted the bar to open up 30mins later (halfway through cocktail hour). It was not followed. My guest were coming up to me saying that the bar was closing early. Took a while to find my coordinator to question her. She managed to make it work so that it can follow the discussed time but I did not feel I had to handle that. We were under the impression that when we arrived, mimosas would already be there (as was told by our coordinators). We did NOT have mimosas. We had a bottle of champagne. No orange juice to make it ourselves if we had to. PLEASE be sure to read the payment section of your contract! I read everything BUT when I tried to pay the venue with my checking account, it only processed once but not for the other 4-5 payments. I began to pay with a debit card. I feel as though how is this my fault that your website was no longer taking my checking accounts when I used it the first time? Because of that, Ashton Gardens processed a 3% fee from my debit card EACH payment. The 3% fee was taken out of my deposit money that I was suppose to receive back 5-10 days after the wedding. No where on the receipt or website where you pay, does it remind you of the 3% fee. Yes I did expect to be reminded because I originally started paying with my checking and something went wrong. It’s human to not remember what the contract says about the fee after months when you first signed the contract. When I got my deposit back I was very disappointed. I UNDERSTAND everywhere is short staffed right now. I was switched around with 3 different coordinators throughout my process. That was exhausting. Each of them explained how emails were backed up. I am one of the brides that was actually on top of everything. I knew what I wanted done to how I wanted it done. It was very frustrating that I had to walk myself through my own process and have a plan b for everything in case no one got back to me. Minor things would have made it PERFECT. I hope this helps you!

Beautiful, Elegant and Indoors! 😄 no mosquitoes, sun burn, wind, rain, cold, heat issues here. I can focus on my wedding and not the elements behavior patterns. This one checks all the boxes and I save a full fortune because I don't need an extensive decorating budget. This places basically sales itself

Had Megan as our day of Coordinator this past weekend and she was an absolute superstar! We had problems with our Shuttle getting guests to the ceremony from the hotel but she helped keep everyone calm and had a plan of action for what to do once people started arriving to keep the timeline flowing for the evening! We even got her on the dance floor a few times! Definitely makes the day easier when your Coordinator is in charge but also able to let loose and have fun doing her job! The food was FABULOUS (we had a buffet style set up) they supposedly recently hired a new chef and the guests couldn't stop complimenting the food! The venue itself is obviously beautiful we didn't even need too many decorations for the photos to look impressive! The photo booth was extremely popular and cold fit so many guests in one photo. Communication was a little rocky through the management change but once we had Megan in charge everything went beautifully!

My husband and I got married at this venue in October 2021 and the venue is absolutely stunning. The natural lighting in the chapel and the ballroom are to die for. However, there are a number of things we weren't the biggest fans of …Hi there- Thank you so much for your feedback.
