How on earth can they operate as a business? Tried a month ago to book a campsite for the weekend while my grandson is visiting, they said to call closer to the date. My sister's family decided we would try to camp together and when my brother in law called 2 weeks ago he was told the same...call closer to the date. He asked how much closer? WS told 2-3 days. SO I called today to get a site for Saturday night ... "We don't book ahead". Who packs their camper, hitches up and drives to a campground without knowing they have a place to set up?!

I like the location and the atmosphere. Seems nostalgic having a drive in movie theater. I can't wait until they actually open for the season. Popcorn, drinks and food, what more can one ask for?

I would have rated this campground a zero if I had that choice. This is the worst campground I have ever seen. The site was very small and had mud all around. You could not walk around without watching every step while setting up because of the dog poop. Most of the sites are for permanent residents that look to have been there for years. The one right beside the one we were supposed to stay in had a man that had served his country but came back with PTSD and schizophrenia and while I know it is not his fault, he was screaming at the top of his lungs threatening to harm us. When we explained all of this to the property management and told them we were leaving, they would only refund half of what we had paid just 30 minutes before. Do not stay here!!! There are much better campgrounds around for about the same cost.

Yes there is laurdryon site
Prices have went up to 500 a .month or,150 a,week
Yes but I wouldn't go there glass everywhere cars going through all night and trains
Campers are by the week but certain ones are by the month
I'm not sure what the rates are but he does have year round living
That I'm not sure of, nice environment though. Clean grounds for sure.
The only thing I can tell you that do have a office there and there's someone that can talk to you about it. But the Kings mountain military Park not far from hounds campground you can count there you ride through the battleground and you will see where they say camping and stuff like that. If you go down 161 and turn at the bears then to the right going into the battleground it won't be too far on your right you will see a little stand where someone takes money for tickets you can go down there all the way out to the end and there's a little cabin out there and you can rent a place for your RV or a tent. My opinion the cost will be cheaper than going up here at hounds campground you go up there you going to get a bunch of roach bugs just saying.
Yes. I am surrounded on both sides with dogs that are tied up outside, so I get to walk around them to get to my door. Get the hint?
Yes we do have cabins 300 a week plus 100 deposit
Yes
I think so I saw some built by residents and perhaps some in the picnic area
150 a week and 150 deposit is what a buddy of mine told me
I believe site rental is 125 per week
