The staff was friendly and responsive. The pizza was well prepared and was presented wonderfully, but wasn't quite what I remember from eight years ago. The cheese blend isn't just mozzarella and wasn't my personal choice, but the family liked it a lot. The bread knots were amazing and we would go back just for them and the beer selection is huge.

This place exceeded my expectations! The sandwiches make for a great standalone meal: top notch bread and stuffed with fresh ingredients...but the Detroit pie I ordered stole the show with its wide variety of flavorful cheeses and super-thick crust. I don't think there's anything on this menu I wouldn't come back to try.

The homemade pizza at Pizza Joint is always amazing! Although we ordered carry out we ordered a drink at the bar while waiting for our pizza. Lucky me! Because when we asked for a non alcoholic beverage I discovered a great new choice! Athletic brewing company, Upside Dawn is a wonderful alternative to alcohol! The homemade chocolate chip cookies are to die for too!!

Magnificent! I miss home like CRAZY! (Chicago), so visiting this spot was well worth the try. The atmosphere, the staff, the timing of the food - you can't lose at a spot like this.
