I have shopped here many times buying models and supplies, back in 2018 they had a model contest and Steve gave everyone who participated a $5 off $20 coupon. I have been there many times since then and always forgot about that coupon. Last Tuesday I went in to purchase some supplies and I remembered about the coupon. When I presented the coupon I was told it was no good, the coupon was printed in 1998, I tried to explain it wasn't that old but I was laughed at and told again it's to old. I left the store without buying anything and I will never shop there again.

This place is awesome! Super clean, super organized and looks very well stocked with everything from the big names in hobbies/rc. I'm going to get an xmaxx and it's good to know there is a place like this in the area that can get my truck back on the road.

Unfortunately we dont have the specific chargers for that drone. You could bring the drone and battery in and we could try to find a suitable replacement

I made the decision to be open based on history. We are typically quite busy on bad weather days. Many people are off work and their kids are off school. They will be looking for something to do on their day off. Many will choose to stay home. And some will be adventurous and go out. I made going into work today strictly voluntary. And the owners were there. Some of our employees really need the money and said that if the car starts they will be there. Are the movie theaters all closed? Are they bad people? All the restaurants? My bank was open this morning. Chicago is known for being a tough town with tough people. In the end, though, our internet is not working and we will be closed. However I bet that Comcast will have some poor employee outside fixing it in this dangerous weather. It was 72 degrees in the store this morning. Dan, Kyle, and the owners Kim and Steve appreciate your concerns for our safety.

Any issue you have with your rc can be resolved at hobbytown by their tech and repair staff. Ive had every issue resolved radio battery receiver or engine performance. With hobby shops diminishing its rewarding to have a hobby town usa close. Nothing better for the hobbyist. Love. Akobi.
It depends on what is wrong with it if they fix the wiring the price could be from $10.00 or more on other parts it depends on what the problem is with it they have plenty of parts for all the different types and size's for the RC Cars even for planes and boats also the guy's in the store are very helpful and are very patients with their customers im very happy with the service there and i know the owners very good and they are very nice and helpful too they know me by my name because im in there so much
