It's a beautiful campground. Unfortunately it's poorly managed. The rules were inconsistently enforced and rules changed on a whim. We met some great people there and also quite a few jerks, but that's typical. We had a seasonal site but decided to leave due to the drama promoted by the owners. For a weekend stay I'm sure it's fine...for a seasonal site, get ready for high school drama.

All three weekends starting this coming weekend
We are a seasonal campground open mid-April to mid-October each year but allow campers to leave their units on-site year round.
They are but we just had a visit with our insurance agent and we are now required to receive documentation showing the owner has liability insurance either though their homeowners policy or a separate insurance plan.
Sorry it’s not free. You either need to rent a campsite or be visiting a friend who purchased a site. The visitors’ fee is $4 per adult and $2 per child to visit that friend.
There was a flyer posted during my last visit. There are two Haloween weekends this October the 5th-7th and 12th-14th. Two night minimum stay. Call the office for more info.
