Nice preservation of history. We were there when they were doing some cleaning and prep for the season. The folks gave us some history and were very pleasant.

Very neat to see and to read the signs about the history was very interesting. Some gave me a good giggle

Volunteers dressed in period clothing, rifle demonstration, ladies inside knitting & cooking over the fire. Very neat small site.

Hi my friend, only the photos you posted from Egypt were great. Unfortunately, you do not have a history and civilization, and this makes your photos not the spirit of your life.
I don't think so. It is a mainly residential area. There is parking on the streets so it would probably depend on how big of a motor home it is. It is well worth the trouble to see this historic site.
Fort "D" was designed by a German American engineer. The fort was built by soldiers under the direction of lieutenant John Wesley Powell. He and the soldiers belong to the Union Army.
