Bought a rifle on line and had it delivered to DA for the transfer. Transfer was done in about 10 minutes, bought some cleaning gear and off I went. Fired many rifles in my day but always with iron sights. My new Sig M400 Tread came with optics and needed to be sighted in so asked for some help when I returned the next day, sales person Mike was more than happy to help. People skills and service after the sale had me sign up for a 1 year membership to their range and I'll be shooting at DA twice a month. Thanks guys.

Love going to this range been coming here for years and never get told I'm doing something wrong during range time. Not stupid and ignorant and respect the rules... Shooting a couple .22 rifles and one of them is a pump and I know better to rapid fire duh!!! Lol and I get told that I'm still shooting too fast!!! Sorry I'm not bench resting bolt action shooting here and doing 12345 Mississippi Lol Relax a little with your regulars and nitpicking every little thing!!! This is why active shooters like to go to outdoor ranges and join sportsman's clubs.

Total D-Bags work at this place. Always sizing you up and making sure you are aware that Glock is amazing. It's your typical know it all gun expert store. If you love Tools then go to this place.

Went there several times for indoors practice, mostly handgun, also used them as FFL for a couple of my online gun purchases (used to pay annual membership although their fees are higher than average). Nice people, friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason for my 4 stars, once they messed up the lane scheduling and interrupted my shooting session for 5 minutes as they wrongfully assigned a new customer to my paid lane (although 3 others were still open). Still going there when rain or snow not allowing me to go to my outdoor range at the Bald Mountain range...

Rimfire rifes only, we're afraid. For centerfire rifles and shotguns, our insurance providers require children to be 12 years or older.
There are instructors who don't work for us but use our facility to hold classes, there are a few listed on our website and you can contact them directly.
Yes with parent
Unfortunately, we don't have any instructors on staff. However, we do host an instructor who is available for private lessons, and does our regular CPL classes. His website is sasccw.com and there should be a schedule and sign-ups there.
You can use any .22 caliber firearm on either our pistol range (when it is open) or our rifle range. And rimfire cartridges are always charged the pistol price for range time.
What are you trying to do get yourself shot? LoL Scott just shoot into the ground . Happy new years from Wolf
I do not believe that they do but you can also call them and they will give you a straight answer I'm sure
That depends on a number of factors. But if you have the muzzle break, and the barrell of you shotgun is already threaded, then our gunsmith should be able to install it quickly. He is in on weekdays if you would like to call with details.
Yes, there are hour & half hour rates for both pistol & rifle range. Our current pricing is always listed on our website
Our range is always open to the public. And with the exception of large groups (6-10+ people, which require prior scheduling), range time is always first come, first served.
Yes. By Federal Law, anyone over the age of 18 can purchase a rifle or longun from a FFL dealer like us, but you have to be 21 or older to purchase a handgun.
Normally, yes. However, there will not be a course at our facility in 2021 as we are currently without an instructor. Your local DNR office should have listings of classes being taught in the area.
There are a few answers to those questions. First, if you are coming with an adult who is shooting their own firearms, the age limit for rifles is 12. It is 16 for handguns. Second, if an adult is renting a rifle, children 12 and up can shoot it under their supervision. All handgun renters must be 21 or over. However, as of April 2020 and until further notice, our rental program has been suspended due to the shortage of ammunition. So all range time must be made with owned firearms for now.
Pretty much the same as everywhere else. Masks are required, and spacers are marked on the floor for distancing. We were already in the practice of disinfecting shared equipment after each use, and nothing has changed there.
No. Unfortunately, M855 is half-steel, light armor-piercing ammunition. It is unsafe to shoot in any armor-plated indoor shooting range. It is, however, safe to shoot at most outdoor ranges.
No. Unfortunately we are suspending our rental program until further notice, due to the prolonged ammunition shortage currently affecting the industry.
While the store never closed, our range was suspended. It reopened at the end of May, but we are on shorter hours on weekdays in the meantime.
Yes, currently our hours are 10am-6pm on weekdays. No appointments, we're always open to the public, as long as your party is less than 8 people.
The Glock model 44 is their new 22 lr target pistol, which is the same size as the model 19. We do carry them, but as of this posting, do not currently have any in stock.
For the most part, yes. You have to be at least 16 to shoot someone else's owned handgun under supervision. But, you can bring and shoot your own rifle or handgun at 18. You can also rent a rifle from us to use on the range at 18, but you must be 21 to rent a handgun. However, our insurance requires 2 people to rent a firearm.
1: We offer 6-month and 1-year memberships which give you a discount on range time. You can purchase them online, in the store, or get one free with the purchase of any firearm. 2: You may use your own ammunition, factory or reload, when using your own firearm on the range. You are only required to use store ammo with a rental firearm.
You can buy a 30$ groupon for 2 tho practice with there gun
Yes, I believe so
Pistol rental? About 45.00 Hollow Point 9mm? About 12.00 (20 rnds) No need to fire HPs, if to be used at range. Round nose brass are 10.00 for 50 rounds
Best thing to do is call them
Yes you are old enough to shoot there. They also rent guns to shoot.
No 7.62 and yes on the shotgun if your shooting slugs
No. However if they have a pistols for rent that you are interested in buying, you can rent that pistol.
50yards
I dont think you will find one for that price. CVA makes a 450 Bushmaster that is a single shot for around that price.
You don't need a permit to shoot, but you do need to be 18 or older. Last time I was there it was $18 a half hour or $21 for a full hour
I do not believe so but you can call and ask
You must be 12 to shoot shotguns or rifles 16 to shoot pistols the number is 2 4 8 588 4488
I believe they refer you to a local gunsmith, D&D Gunsmith ddgunsmiths.com
I concur with Scott I took a class with Jim Binder I loved it and it was complete and detailed knowledge of what you need to know
We have CPL classes almost every other weekend, the instructors are listed on our website as they do not work for us but rather through our facility.
Yes you can
Yes and yes!
