This is a super solid boat with all the accessories you would ever want. The cruise control made it so easy to surf until you ran out of energy. I would definitely recommend renting from them.

First and foremost I did not rent this boat. My Brother did. My brother is just too nice to say anything. If you want to rent this boat you need to know what it is. Its about 17 feet long. It claims 9 person capacity. Only if you stack literally on top of each other. Once in position it will be very difficult to move. There is only one proper seat. The rest is akin to four seperate small bath tubs in the corners of the boat. The boat has a 350 v8, this should be PLENTY of power in this little boat. We had 3 adults and few teenagers. Im the boat guy in the family with lots of experience. My Brother called frustrated the boat would not plane. I figured I would show him how the trim tabs worked when I got there. It has one center trim tab like all the other surf boats. The switch, however, was broken off at the dash. When we called the (owner?) He tried to tell me, "surf boats dont have trim" and it doesnt need it. This owner was eithr very ignorant about boats or hiding the fact that his rental was broken. We took it out that morning. Took a good 30 seconds to leanover to a plane with two of us in the boat and nothing behind it. Once the other kids got on and we put a tube on it we plowed around the lake off plane. Almost like the ballist was full, but it wasnt ( first thing I checked). This boat from what can tell would probably work ok just to surf, but there is no way it will give a tube ride or pull a wakeboarder up in its current condition. The condition of the boat was pretty bad. The state water cop actuall pulled the boat over because the registration numbers were peeling off. Upholstery was ripped, the sticker graphics were gouged. Just over all bad shape. I was hoping they would make this right with my brother but it doesnt sound like they are going to.

I had searched and searched for the best prices and place to book our boat rental for our trip in August and Gephardt was SO phenomenal! They were so accommodating and patient with us as we took several days to get everything in order. 100% I will book with them again!
