Everything was lovely. They apparently have a towel shortage? The front desk lady wouldn't give my brother enough for us all, and when I went to get some for me and my family who he had asked for towels and been told no (dripping wet), I offered to put some out for her and she said she only had 6 left and would only give them to people who have to walk to her like I did (her words).

Take your own soap. The Hotel doesn't have any hand soap. The staff are very nice. My room was clean but thermostat didn't work so the Air Conditioner ran continuously. Making the repair to the thermostat would certainly be cost effective. Overall great stay and celebratory reason to be in New Bern.

Coffee pot and sink were not clean. Everything else was clean. Vent in bathroom made noises on and off all day and night. Staff was wonderful. We would stay again. Very convenient to historic district, shopping and eateries. Loved being close to the river!!!

From the minute I walked through the front door and was greeted by Venas who had taken the time before my check in to read a note with my reservation that I requested a lower floor room. She was also very helpful with giving me ideas for local restaurants and places to visit. Superb customer service!! My room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Great hot/cold breakfast buffet as well. Checkout at 12pm also a bounus! Thank you Springhill Marriott for making my stay a very pleasant one!! Laura A.
