I was here two times within one year for (simple) scheduled maintenance for my Toyota Tundra (2021). I had several points of contact (via phone and in person) related to the two maintenance. I am not happy with the attitude of the employees. The company does not enough value the customer's time, including not following up on simple a question (we will get back to you...). Examples include differences in statements between the person on the phone (arranging appointment) and the person in the shop (actual appointment). This happened two out of two times to me. I cannot comment on the technical skills since there I did not have a situation so far where technical skills would show. I am a "car guy" and had multiple car dealer contacts in my life so that I am confident that I am able to compare.

Service provided was fine. I asked that they finish the service as quickly as possible, as I had other errands to run. I dropped off at 7:00am, they were finished by 10:22am, but I never knew it. The service manager failed to verify my mobile number, consequently called an old number and I never got the message. When I called in at 11:30am, I was unable to reach the service manager and was given their mobile number. Then I called their mobile multiple times and they never answered or responded. I texted them multiple times, and they never answered. When picking up the car at 5:00pm, after determining which number they called and that was the reason I did not come back earlier, they never apologized for calling the wrong number. While I got what I asked for, I felt that I did not matter to them and will not take my vehicle back to them for service. I expect to be communicated with when I drop my vehicle for service.

I purchased my Prius at this dealership in 2016 and had my vehicle serviced here ever since. Most recently, for my 60K mile maintenance, I just had them do the recommended package without looking too carefully at the details. It turns out that I paid $485 for an oil / air (+filter) change, tire rotation and routine inspection (it was quoted as $500+ and I decided to decline the wiper blade change). After I looked a bit closer and consulting with some car-savvy friends, I realized this was a ridiculous charge and I got totally ripped off. Be careful!

Hello, Future customers of Magnussen Toyota of Palo Alto. I like to share my amazing purchase experience of my New 2022 Toyota Camry XSE. As there has been a huge shortage of vehicles in the car market I was able to communicate with their saleswoman Ms. Sadaf Khoshnevis. Sadaf was able to find me the vehicle model and color along with the options that I wanted in a very short amount of time. I had not seen the vehicle in person at all however Sadaf sent me many detailed information and pictures while communicating with me and we were able to make an amazing deal after all. She was very polite and professional and returned my calls and fast response through email and text messages. I highly recommend you contact or work with her if you are in the market for a new Toyota.

You need to talk to a nechanic, these arent basic questions anyone from the public is going to know
No. They clean it when you buy it but it is all you after you buy it. Lexus does and other luxury car companies do. But that comes with the price tag.
