So here is the break down. 10 minutes from Legoland. About 40 minutes from San Diego. Great service and rooms. The note on the location, The surrounding area is very safe for visitors, however traffic can be a little hairy . The location and to get there can be a bit interesting. Going east on the north coast hwy you can't just turn left on to the driveway, you have to go down a bit then safely execute a u-turn. There is a double yellow line turning left there will get you a ticket if the police are present.

We loved staying here. Very close to the beach and freeway. The hotel was really clean. They provided a nice breakfast and 24 hour coffee and iced water. The pool and hot tub was clean. They clean your rooms everyday and the staff was extremely friendly! Will definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to the marina (via pedestrian path for most of the way). Ample parking. Breakfast somewhat limited.

We do not have shuttle service from the San Diego airport as it is located over 40 miles south. Super shuttle, Uber, Lyft or taxi are options. Thank you
