Placed a to go order at the counter. Person was helpful as we placed order and asked questions to determine the right combinations for our order needs. It had been quite some time since we ate there but both quantity and quality were spot on. One delicious treat!

This has got to be the worst BBQ we have ever had. The restaurant was dirty with unswept floors. Had to move ourselves to another table. The one the hostess sat us at had crumbs and wet sticky glass rings on the table. And it only got worse from there. Ordered brisket plates. The brisket was definitely not cooked today. It was old, cold and as tough and dried out as shoe leather. Shoe leather may have tasted better. Sides were OK. Garlic toast was burnt and dry. Server took our order, twenty minutes later brought the food and never came back except to bring the bill. My husband paid, asked for the manager. He told him he had two complaints. Manager said "OK". Husband said "the place is filthy". Manager said "OK". Husband said "Second, the brisket was old, cold and dried out." Manager said, "OK". That's all he said, so husband walked out. Honest opinion, I don't think this place would pass a health inspection. We won't be back, there's too many other BBQ places to choose from in St. Louis.

We were in from out if town, and wanted a BBQ place close to our hotel. It was great. Oh, that garlic bread is insanely good.

The manager went above and beyond to make sure that I myself a veteran in a less than favorable situation. 8 like you King and was very cool and spelled very much appreciated. The whole staff was welcoming and heartwarming. One of very few places that I would recommend and will make you feel like home.
