Dr. Blazek is amazing!!! First of all, her clinic is the most peaceful space I know of. When you enter, you immediately feel your stress melt away. And she is a skilled healer. She brings to her practice her knowledge of medicine from having worked as a respiratory nurse for years as well as a deep understanding of the channels of the body from her training in acupuncture. On top of all of her knowledge of Western and Eastern medicine, she is an extremely compassionate and empathic human being—exactly the kind of person you want on your side when your body goes haywire. She will guide you through your darkest times. Truly a powerful healer!

I'm a disabled veteran and I've been a patient of Point Balance Acupuncture off and on for over a year. The acupuncturist, Kathleen is incredibly knowledgeable in not only acupuncture, but eastern and western medicines. She is very professional and polite along with her staff. I HIGHLY recommend Point Balance Acupuncture to treat your pain and even for relaxation therapies. GB.

Questions & Answers

My wife has a brain tumor and has bad headaches every day. She is 66 years now and doesn't want to take opioids. Can accupuncture provide any relief for her? She takes too many otc pain meds and is going to destroy her stomach.

I believe acupuncture can certainly help your wife! The treatments will help and they have oils and teas that will certainly help also. The staff is genuine, helpful, knowledgeable and sincere! Please try it. It's the only thing that has helped my husband, who suffers from debilitating pain everyday. He was addicted to opiod for years, went through rehab, has been sober since rehab, and won't touch any kind of narcotic. Acupuncture is the only thing that helps, with the Hemp oils! Good luck to you and your wife!

Do you have experience treating tinnitus? What have the results been?

Hi Christopher, Tinnitus has many causes. This can be from being exposed to loud sounds, intense vibrations, hypertension, declining health or other health issues. Rarely can anything help with tinnitus caused from loud sounds and vibrations as this usually causes long-term and terminal issues with the auditory nerves. If tinnitus is acute (meaning it came on quickly and hasn't been around long), caused from general health issues or declining health acupuncture has been shown to be effective. If tinnitus is caused from the use of medications, a review of those medications would be helpful as well as a follow up to the appropriate physician who prescribed the medication.

Do you except insurance? We have All Savers.

We do accept insurance. I don't know if All Savers has an acupuncture benefit. It would be best to call the insurance company directly as they would have the most accurate answer for you. Thank You for your inquiry and have a great day.
