I have avoided this place like the plague for the last 15 years because my presence always seem to be a bother and the atmosphere sucked the life out of me I've had to come here twice in the past week and this is a whole new place. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, smiling and incredibly helpful. What a dramatic and welcomed change.

Went to get a new driver's license. Had to wait about 20 minutes in line as there were about 10 people ahead of me. The line moved quickly. Went to pick up my temporary handicap placard.

I've been putting off a DMV trip for no lie 6 months because it's always just such a pain. Finally made it in today and it was just the most pleasant experience as far as errands go. Everyone I personally interacted with as well as other interactions I witnessed were all extremely polite, friendly, and efficient. I went in for a new DL and was out in well under an hour (didn't keep track but I was moving the whole time so I didn't even check my watch). I wish I caught the names of the people that helped me but thank you to the Edwardsville DMV for making a dreaded errand quick and painless!
