Had a great time at this hotel, went during the summer season and stayed in one of the family rooms. Kids loved the loft beds, and we enjoyed the space. Bartender and staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was also quite refreshing prior to going to dinner. I can see why it would be a great option during the winter ski season as you can get a cheap pass on the ski lift right on the property. 5/5 recommended and would stay again.

Positive: Staff was incredibly nice. Even the maintenance guy was cool ¿¿. Negative: Could use new beds, they seem kinda warped. But still an excellent place to stay.

We had a great experience! After a long day of travel, we were warmly greeted and given exceptional service. Loved having ski rental/storage in the building and close/walking distance to everything. They were very accommodating to our small children as well. Highly recommend

I have some really mixed feelings about staying here. First - if you don't like being woken up by trail grooming and snowcats at 3am, don't book a slope side room. Positives: location and access to the gondola, lifts, and the Village...and the decor has been updated to feel modern and sleek. There's snacks, beer, and wine at the front desk, which is really convenient. Ptom's is a totally reasonably priced restaurant and quick, which is nice. They also have a TV screen, so we caught part of a football game while grabbing a quick bite. Downsides: the room wasn't particularly clean, the shower curtain definitely needed washing, and the fridge door was broken, so it would pop off each time we tried to open it. We arrived for a late check-in (10:30pm) and had called 4hrs before getting to Steamboat to let them know. The woman on the phone was really friendly about it, but the gentleman working the desk when we arrived was not. He turned out the lobby lights while we were still gathering our things to go to the room, and when thanked for staying up at the desk for our late check-in, he told us that as the night desk shift, he didn't have a choice. Definitely didn't set the tone for a great first impression. I'm 50/50 on if I'd stay here again, especially for $400/n per room cost.
