The lady working was rude, made it seem like my trained, and actually registered service dog was scary and aggressive because he got hurt on time flooring and is now scared of it. All he did was refuse to come off the steps and then he tends to run across the tile to carpet. NO ONE but it's was in the lobby so we tried to work him through it and she threw a big fit and made us not even want to finish our stay! My dog is a necessity to me and is professionally trained, she didn't have to make things uncomfortable and he would have done better working through it had she not been loudly saying he can't be like that especially if there were customers around! Well like I said there were none so we were just trying to help him past his fear! I only stay at Wyndham hotels and this one was the worst!!! Never again!

This is a garbage hotel. They put me in a smoking room. When I spent time in the room I noticed the odor, the burns in the sheets, and the roof was partially falling apart. The front desk clerk was a complete jerk to me and said me wanting to change rooms was "fishy." I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy.

My stay was good but upon check out the lady who was checking me out wasn't very nice. I made a mistake and gave her the wrong room number and she was just down right rude even though I apologise for my mistake. In my opinion she needs to taught some customer service skills, I don't recall her name but she was a little stocky women with dirty blonde hair, I think she was a supervisor as well. The younger girl that works there was very friendly and nice.

Had to stay in Mattoon after an emergency with my rental car and this was the only hotel with availability. Their beds and pillows were VERY comfortable (I usually stay at Marriott brand hotels, for comparison). The rooms were fresh and clean. My only complaint was I could hear EVERYTHING (5am). It sounded like either Irish step dancers were rooming above me, or professional wrestlers conditioning for WWE smack down or raw or whatever. Turns out it was some kind of work crew that was getting ready for work in the morning. Then (6am) my sleep was interrupted by someone blaring family guy at top volume. The front desk lady didn’t seem to care but what ever. I just needed some where for my kid to lay his head while we waited for enterprise for resolve our rental issue.
