I don't normally Right a review actually I never have haha but we were on our way home from Nashville and thought our trip was over nope one last amazing stop at this fine place! Food was incredible! Food came fast and nice size portions not too expensive it's the whole package!!!!

I'm giving 5 starts because it's Mattoon. In a big city it's more of a 4-star place. Like the service. Prices are reasonable. The food is actually quite good and what we've gotten is not more distant from authentic Italian than, say, Olive Garden. It's a good American Italian restaurant.

Authentic Italian food in Central Illinois? Believe it! I was really surprised at how good the food is. I had the best stromboli I have had in recent memory. The meatball sub was top notch as well. The portions are huge so you really do get a lot of value for the money. Ambiance could use a little work. They're in a large space so it doesn't really give you that cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant vibe, but the food and the service more than makes up for it.

Damablanka was delicious! No parmesan cheese on Caesar salad was strange and no fresh cheese for pasta. Kiersten was great and the owner or manager was nice enough to give us a quarter because we were short getting a toy outta the kids machines. Very family friendly!
