I always stay at this hotel in Mattoon. It’s a nice family-owned place with a bar and everything you need in walking distance. The rooms are nice, staff are friendly and they do karaoke at the bar on the weekends.

Not bad, room was clean. Hotel was empty so I didn't see a reason to put me all the way on the upper end in back it was I hike to get down to the bar lol

The room was clean. Needs updating and a coat of paint but it was decent. My biggest complaint was there was no room temperature control and it was so hot and humid. There was also a wedding at the hotel and there were kids running around and people yelling and screaming all night in the atrium that my room faced. The hotel did give me a discount because I mentioned it at check out. My kids and I literally got no sleep.

Positive: Didnt like everything they advertise they didn't have.Went there to use pool..It's closed..suspose to have nice breakfast that didn't happen so there was nothing to like... Negative: No wifi no pool no big breakfast ( they served a pastry)
