Guy at the counter seemed a bit disinterested in helping us. Didn't look up from his task to acknowledge our question and then was a bit sarcastic. The bait was nasty, most dead. I will give him at least 2 stars because his selection of other items and prices were pretty good although a bit disorganized. We won't be back there, there are others so much more helpful to a young beginner.

This is the best bait and tackle place around. Shopped them all in about 25 mile radius. These folks got the best variety, best prices, and best customer service.

They do but most places have been running out due to high demand.
Honestly I've never bought freshwater tackle from rod and reel but you should look into that...and let us know.
They put a new eye on the end of a rod for my nephew while we was was down fishing last fall did an awesome job
Rod and reel shop is the best place in Holden beach for gear and fishing advice . Been going there for most of my life.
Yes they are great to offer advice and rent you the right stuff, plus have bait that will catch fish.
