Not safe, no regard for guest loss or property. Air was broken first day and a half, had to move entire family to a different room after several trips to room by "maintenance" to repair broken A/C in 110 weather. Was directed to park safely directly under the light pole in rear of hotel. Stayed there July 20th for a few nights with a small uHaul trailer attached to our car. Trailer was secure parked under the direction of the best place to park by the front desk staff. (They were very nice and helpful) In other words the staff specifically directed me where to park for safety reasons. On the 3rd night our trailer was broken into overnight with about $1,500 if valuables stolen. This happen on their property as their guest with no regard other than to make a police report which I did. I hold the hotel responsable and it speaks to how they don't care about the guest property. I ended up traveling across the country and stayed at other brand hotels with no issues at all. The hotel has a duty to protect its guest and its guest property. And if somebody gets hurt you could see a negligent security case for that injury and when there is property loss people are damaged. Some of the items taken have been accumulated over 41 years and cannot be replaced. My family was scared and stressed the entire stay, we left two days earlier than planned with the break in and no regard for safety it was a very bad experience.

The young Asian girl at front counter was very rude! She claimed to be the front end manager but has absolutely no place dealing with people! We were put into a room that smelled strongly of feces and urine. When we asked for our money back she wouldn’t allow and offered to move us to a different room. The next room was WORSE believe it or not….we could smell urine before even opening the room. Now it’s about 11pm and we tried a 3rd room upstairs! Thankfully this room smelled better but overall a tattered looking room. In the morning after going thru the whole room ordeal we went down to have breakfast only to have a lowly maid tell us our dogs couldn’t be in there! We did pick a pet friendly hotel for a reason….NOT to be kicked out of breakfast for having them in there and by the way nobody was even in there eating at that time! Once they get your money you’ll be treated like absolute garbage!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! We will never be darkening the steps of LA Quinta ever again!!

I stayed in room 126 and it has the most comfortable bed. Spacious clean room with kitchenette. The wifi works well. Only small setback was checking in because you get charged twice but maybe that is new? I've stayed at LaQuinta other locations and this was a first to be double charged (you get reimbursed a day or two later). Overall I recommend this location because the employees are courteous plus you get a free margarita at Nacho Daddy's which is right next door. It is close to other businesses and you can see part of Red Rock Canyon from the hotel. Nice experience. I would book here again.

The first room I got, the heater did not work. The second room had a heater that grinded all night and I could not sleep. The third room had a heater that shuts down when it over heats, and It was hard to sleep in the freezing room at 4am. The final room had a fridge in it, and the fridge was so loud, I didnt even try to sleep in it and went back to the room with no heat. These are slumlords. Do not waste your money here. You will not sleep well.
