I went to get a car at the Oakland Airport and the person behind the counter was rude and dismissive. She tried to sell me car insurance for the rental. When I asked a question about buying the insurance and what did it cover. She gave me a three term answer that unless you were a lawyer/insurance agent I am sure you would understand. I told her I did not understand the term and could she explain what it covered for the rental car coverage. I just got the same term twice even though I told her I did not understand it. I decided against the coverage and asked to put my rental on a credit card I know provide full coverage for car rentals. She said no she couldn't do that since she already used a different credit card on the contract. I then asked if she could cancel it and put the car on a new contract. She said No two more time and told me if I cancelled the contract she started I would lose the car I reserved. No customer service. No yes answers and only No's. Train people who treat customers with common respect. And do not try to sell me something by giving me a three word term I do not understand.

don't bother getting the car you reserved, no matter what you may have ordered/reserved online all they give out are toyota camry.

Payless offered that debit cards could be used as told to us by the national office. Made a reservation,drove 15 miles one way to pickup the rental, was told at the airport rental desk that debit cards were not allowed to rent a vehicle, unless you were flying in or out. This local policy is in direct conflict with Payless' stated policy for use of debit cards. Minus 4 would have been more real.
