Here is no fall anymore.......

No waterfall...nice walk to it's location. Dry as a bone. Will return to see if the gal returns.

A nice quick stop to take in a bit of nature!

Lovely but it's a short boardwalk walk, not a place to spend lots of time.

It wasn't gated off completely when I was there a week ago, there was orange barrels and a small amount of fence but I was able to get in and out without issue with my crew cab truck
I'm not sure but I would say no since they want people to stay on the boardwalk. You can submit a question to the parks department here: https://www.columbus.gov/Templates/Detail.aspx?ekfrm=72614
It's free and like others have said its a beautiful place to visit . Just have your camera ready, pack water and money because you'll find something to purchase elsewhere for sure!
If the falls are flowing at full blast you will get a nice refreshing mist from the falls standing at the end of the boardwalk (and the boardwalk will also get very slippery).
Don't have even eating place
It opens all the time. I would assume it close at dark.
No, It has a boardwalk that leads up to the waterfall.
Not to the bottom but there are overlooks at the top
There are steps you have to walk down right by the parking lot. A long flight of steps, but it isn't far after that. A short walk. It is very pretty.
How did you get there bc when I went through last week, the parking lot is closed and the entrance is closed
Sorry it is not, lots of steps to get down to the water fall.
You can enter the park from 2 locations. You could easily park at the post office or the library or school at the other entrance.
I don't think that is a possible area to do so but you can contact City of Columbus parks and rec wedding department.
No swimming, really the only thing you can do is look and photos.
No camping on Hayden falls park
If you don't mind your kids wading in filthy run off from the streets above, go for it!
How much money you have to cancel to enter the park?
I've seen people do it, but I think it is discouraged as an enclosed wooden walkway was built to get an up close view of the falls but to keep visitors from going down to the ground. I wouldn't advise it as I wonder why anyone would want to wade in water that is run off from the streets and neighborhoods above.
I wouldn't the bridge is the only place you can walk, what if you need to retrieve your drone? Might be a headache and there's lots of water. Btw, not being mean but drones kind of ruin the being one with nature experience for everyone else.
