This is an absolutely useless union. When I was a member of the Columbus branch the branch in Milwaukee refused to help me and would not provide job leads. I wish that I had never joined this worthless organization. I had to pay full union dues yet as a part time employee I was NOT ENTITLED to receive union benefits. Because of this I decided that I would never join another stinking union.

It's a shame 1059 has turned their backs on its brothers and sisters. Trying to force a contract that has already been voted down. Shame on you for selling out and siding with the company.

I'm a member of UFCW. This is our local office. We were voting on the contract offer from our employer. We will be returning this week to vote again.
