I had the best non emergency experience here. My dog had an appointment with a specialist . My dog LOVES people but is not a fan of other animals . One of the receptionists met me at a side door so I didn’t have to walk through a lobby full of animals . When we got to the second floor - another receptionist saw me and asked if my dog was Lola ( the first receptionist had called up and communicated ) and made sure a room was ready so Lola and I didn’t have to wait with other animals . Every person that came into contact with Lola , gave her all the lovings and kisses. I was in and out in under 40 minutes . Punctual , kind , understanding and professional staff . Very impressed with the entire experience!

The emergency department was absolutley horrible. Took my dog in for a huge abscess on his head(cancer patient as well). Took him back to get vitals and then we sat in the lobby for 8 1/2 hours, no updates or anything. Will not visit the ER again.

I really used to enjoy bringing our pooch to Med Vet been here since 12:00 and still waiting. My dog has not been feeling well at all but it's not "urgent" cause everyone who comes to the counter says they need to be seen now so we keep getting pushed down the line. The fact that we got no updates or acknowledged is what really irritates me.

By far the worst vet I have been to. Had my animal sit for 12 hrs all to call and tell me the had done nothing and want 3900 to do the procedure they needed done. Didn't call and give a estimate so I had the option to take them somewhere else who won't charge you a bank loan to fix your pet!!! Never again. I'd go anywhere but here!!!!

I don't know, but you'd have to ask Medvet about that instead of Google.

If you call MedVet their staff is always super helpful and could probably tell you if they think you should bring your cat in.
They do not take payments. However, they take deposits with treatment plan. Care Credit is also accepted.
Yes
I believe they will take nearly any animal, bird or reptile. But you might want to call them to verify.
Before procedures are completed, you would receive an estimate. You should call in and ask them to compare quotes. For an ultrasound, sometimes I have had MedVet do it. There have been times that MedVet recommended I ask his primary vet to do this because they knew it would be less expensive. No one can answer this question here. You should call in and ask. Your vet can help you with what language to use.
They take walk-ins for emergencies, but for regular care by a specialist, you will need an appointment.
I can agree with Carla. My baby is getting Chemo treatments there now. And all the staff are so loving.
Thanks for the question, Richard Siebenthaler. We'd be happy to discuss our services with you over the phone. Please give us a call at 614.846.5800.

Hi Brenda, There are a number of places you could stay. There's a Hyatt, Sheraton and DoubleTree hotel nearby. At this time we don't offer any shuttle services. Thanks for the question and we hope your dog feels better soon.
Hi Terry, Please contact us at MedVet Columbus at 614.846.5800. We would love to discuss!
They can for sure but may have other more simple solutions. Your regular vet should be able to help you as well at a lesser cost.
This place is all about money. East columbus vet takes payments
