It was very busy but we did not have to wait long. Everyone that works here are very friendly and customer service oriented. I will not go anywhere else for my license and registration needs.

Wonderful staff

Quickest and nicest BMV I've ever been to. Jerrod was very nice and got me in and out before the lunch rush.
Melody Laywell
Very busy but all the employees were upbeat and engaging. In the past there were times it was depressing and you felt like you were being a bother. Someone needs to be applauded for the great customer service.

Yes, you will need the title for your new car and driver's license or I.D.
As long as the car is registered to you, all you'll need is your driver's license or ID and we can renew your tags.
To get your license you just need to go into the dmv
Birth certificate, proof of residence, social security card, veterans ID of your a vet and proof of insurance. Be sure to tell them any special endorsements on license if you have any.
At this time we are not set up to accept Apple Pay. We do accept most credit/debit cards
You got 6 months to get license
We have no way to know if you have an active warrant so police probably would not be called.
Not on Thanksgiving
Just ID social card
Yes but it now takes 10 to 15 days to get them in the mail.
What kind of record? Your driving record you can get.
Nope! I believe you have 30 days, but I know a week for certain.
Call or go to the License Bureau office and let them know. You may need to have documents that can prove your identity when you go to the license bureau. I think, it may cost less than $30 but it depends on the situation.
I'm honestly not sure. I believe you can look on the BMV website and it should tell you.
It sounds like you were issued an ID card and not a license. Please return to the agency where it was issued so it can be corrected.
If you have a passport that will cover. If not take your ss card and birth certificate. Also take a utility bill for proof of address.
No, the holder of the permit would have to re-test to update the permit. Only exception is for CDL permit holders get one permit renewal.
Yes but be prepared to wait forever it was actually quicker for me to go to Bechtle then it was this location
There are now currently two options for driver's license renewal. The 4 year option is $27.25, and the new 8 year option is $53.60.
No, title bureau. It's in the same plaza
We do not process car titles at our office, but there is a title office in our shopping center. Their address is 1607 Selma Rd in the old Huntington Bank building.
October of 2019 was too long ago. To get another license you'll have to take the permit and driver's test again.
Yes, we are still open and serving customers.
No, it has been moved back to next July.
You'll 1st have to register your vehicle's title in Ohio. To do so, bring the vehicle in to get an out-of-state inspection (We verify the make, model, VIN number, and mileage) and you will receive paperwork to register your title in Ohio. Once you get your title transferred we can register your vehicle. It sounds like alot but the whole process takes about 20 mins.
You will be ok to wait until the 19th to renew. If you are applying for a standard ID all you will need is your current ID. If you wish to obtain a federally compliant ID you will need more documents. For a complete list of acceptable documents please visit our website. Thank you
Yes
To renew a placard you'll need a new prescription from your healthcare provider.
That depends on where you live and what kind of car you're registering. Come on in and we'll be more than happy to let you know!
You'd have to either come into an office or log onto www.oplates.com, we aren't able to answer that here.
Waiting until you complete the tests for all the endorsements would be best. So that way you only pay for once for your CDL.
Yes, to get a new driver's permit you will have to take the test again.
Driver license renewal is $25.75 and tags for a passenger vehicle is $54.50 if you live in the city limits of Springfield
Yes we do. It charges a fee of $1.95
State ID's are $8.50
Yes, you can. To do so you will need your NY driver's license, birth certificate or passport, social security card or W-2/1099, and proof of residence in Ohio. Please visit our website for a list of acceptable documents.
If your permit was still valid/expired not more than 6 months; you'll only need one form of identification to replace it. There is a list of acceptable documents available on our website.
You can for religious or medical reasons. Otherwise, no.
