It would depend on whether it was a new car or used. Also whether it was a private seller or a dealer.
If you are waiting on the dealer to process, so that your 45 day tags do not expire, I would reach out to the dealership.
If it was a private sale you would need to get their title from seller and have the top filled out and notarized.
You are welcome to call the offices since there are a variety of scenarios.

You can come to the title office with the security agreement and file. You can also call the office to see if other documentation is appropriate.
How does one go about checking on whether a mobile home title was/ has been transferred into buyers name?? And property taxes transferred also of such property??

You can do a records request for the mobile home if there is a title in the system. If it has been transferred to real estate it should show on the Auditor's website and that shows the amounts due on property taxes, as well. Manufactured homes can vary so please feel free to come to the office or call and we will answer and/or direct you to getting all your questions answered.

It depends on the authority of the POA and what you refer it as clear title. If a financial POA comes to the office and fills out an application for title, we can issue a title. You are welcome to call 521-1835 and we would be happy to help assist you.

The typical title fee is $16 and the tax is based on the county sales tax for your county of residence so for Clark County 7.25%. Hope this helps you. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
