It is a beautiful place to enjoy a walk with the family, breathe fresh air, listen to the sound of birds... I love nature

Excellent park to relax or exercise. It has two tubular gyms, a dog park, soccer fields, restrooms, gazebos, a 2-mile trail for jogging or walking, and a beautiful lake in the center with lots of ducks, some fountains, and benches. Remember to deposit the garbage in the cans.

They have snowballs, ice cream, nachos, fried pickles, chicken tenders, plus a bunch of other packaged chips and stuff. Probably a lot more I'm not remembering.
Yes, and Lafreniere Park Farmers Arts Market Every Wednesday Starts April 7th 2:00-7:00
Most, if not all shelters are surrounded by grass. You can use a wheelchair to get to one of them, it would be harder to push on the grass.
Back of the park has an office follow the main road
Notify the Parish Presidents office of your concerns, thanks.
No
A guy just caught a 9.5 lb. bass at City Park. If urban fishing is your thing I would go there. The Lakefront suggestions are good.
Yes every Wednesday from 2-7
Yes, there is a skate pavilion near the center of the park. I wish we could add photos to these answers so I could show where it is but it's between the Concert Meadow and Snack Stand (across from the soccer fields). Hope this helps!
I'm not sure but you can call Lafrenier park are goolg
Yes, as long as it wasn't previously reserved.
Yes they are for rent
Around 10am daily also there's a ticket machine u pay cash in get tickets then give the tickets to the person in charge

Yes! Dogs welcome on a leash. A dog park available, if dog wants to be able to go frolicking with other dogs. Please remember to pick up anything your dog may drop on the ground (poop). Bring your own bags and put in the trash cans! Remember, if you don't pick up after your dog, you may get a TICKET. Have a great time at Lafreniere Park. Put trash in its proper place. Thank you. Enjoy!
There are grills for charcoal at each covered table area. Have fun!
Yes, you pay 5 dollars per car. You drive threw the lights. Enter the parking lot and then can walk threw the other lights. They have entertainment, food and lots of beautiful picture opportunities. Well worth it.
Thete is an office, with flyers on all that stuff, hours, rental, fees, hours, where you can, and where you can't. You can see it from the road and there is someone in the office during regular Office hours five days a week, and through the summer, i believe there is someone thete on Saturday, limited hours though.
at the entrance
Yes
3pm I believe
Yes, but not on the running trails.
With chalk it's allowed, I have seen some.
No only online
$10 per vehicle they have treats and stuff at a tent for different prices
It is located by the carousel, not sure of the hours open though 😕
5 a.m. according to the park's website
I am not sure about the cost but have often seen people using the shelter for short periods if it's not reserved. You may check on websites for the cost. I hope it helps you.
Yes
Too many people drop off their unwanted Easter and Christmas presents in the park. They may be just trying to defend what they see as their territory. Its unfortunate. Let park management know.
Go towards the back entrance, at stop sign, take a left, follow the road till you can see the wooden foot bridge and that is where it is.
The easiest way would be to use Google or you can go to the park and see and then hang around and have a relaxing day watching the wildlife
No
I think just in New Orleans but you should be able to go to their website to see if they are
Supposedly same as any other Sunday. Dusk until 10
They do have a room to rent it's nice so walk and see people in there plenty of parking space
Currently the hours are 7-7 everyday except monday. They are usually pretty strict about the hours. Sometimes they even close 10 min early. After 7, it's dark out so most people are gone anyway. There are, surprisingly, a lot of people there around 7:30 every morning
