Place is old but the caregivers are nice. It varies from time to time. Wish they would have a closer location to the shoreline so I could keep up with the meetings . The rooms are bad, they are small and cramped. Not the best of what I have seen at other places. I think if it wasnt for some of the caregivers that genuinely seem to care about the patients I would move my family member. Its just Ok. Not the worst but could be much much nicer

My mother had been in and out of many facilities in Ct. At one point t we feared there wasn’t a place that could accommodate her needs, until we brought her to Silver Springs. Her physical and mental health has never been better. She raves about the staff and how everyone gives so much to help her. Julie, the social worker goes above and beyond her duty and makes you feel like your family is hers. It may not be a fancy place but the beauty comes from the hearts of those that work there.

I have been very impressed with the staff at Silver Springs. They are a hard working, caring group of people that really taken care of my loved one. Unfortunately, I live in Pennsylvania and can not visit as often as I would like, but every time I do visit things are great. They do everything they can to enhance their resident's life and just generally care. I feel very fortunate that my MOM IS IN SUCH A PLACE, especially given my inability to visit often.
