Hostile work environment and the supervisors do not care about their employees. The newest post master is the latest puppet in the corporation. They overwork CCAs and the office does not allow any sort of lifestyle. It’s a rigged system and they overwork and abuse their workers. How can CCAs see their kids or schedule a haircut without knowing a schedule/working 13 days straight/getting called in on their day off? On top of that, employees are afraid to call out if they are not feeling well because they will suffer repercussions. Something needs to change. Hmm wonder why there is such a high turnover rate? This job is not for the weak. I wonder what would happen if management took pride in what they do!

Didn't deliver my car tax bill from the town for a month and a half. By the time I received it I had fees and interest on top of the bill so I called up the post office. Was greeted by a woman who told me there is "nothing they can do" and when I asked about reimbursement she promptly hung up the phone. Meriden Post Office needs to fire these horrible employees and hire people who know how to do their job. (And yes I am reaching out to their district manager to get them written up for this.)
