Unbelievably easy in/out with none of the frustrating waits and attitudes of the bigger cities. People were friendly and efficient. It's nice when the people in the waiting room with you aren't all stressed out from long waits and dealing with rude employees. None of that here, smooth and easy.

I cannot say enough good things about the 2 guys that normally work the counter. They are helpful and nice, a true pleasure to deal with. I have registered 10 vehicles in the last 3 years and never had a problem at the La Grande DMV. These guys deserve a raise!

If you are over 18 the computer test is the only test you take, other than that the rest is just driving. However, if you are not 18 you will have to take the computer test and a written test.
It's the DMV. Always a charge.
