I find it absolutely ridiculous that you can not get into contact with anyone! You’re not accepting calls yet you have a high call volume?! That makes no sense. Like how is anyone suppose for get something done if you can’t talk to anyone?!

This place is a joke. Don’t even try calling. You’ll need to drive up there if you have a question. Don’t go in thinking you’ll get any help either without making an appointment online. Guess what, they are backlogged about a month on appointments most of the time. All I can say is, good luck. Edit* I ended up just walking in and was helped almost immediately. Everyone was also very nice. However, something still does need to be done about being able to talk to someone on the phone and their appointment system is apparently flawed.

I've been trying to schedule an appointment for almost 2 months now to reapply for an installment plan. I have not been able to reach anyone by phone, online, or email. Now my license is suspended due to non-payment on an installment plan. How in the world am I supposed to get back onto a payment plan if I can't get an appointment? This is the perfect example of tyranny. This is downright despicable. I'm appalled that the Louisiana DMV is treating people like this. What am I supposed to do now?

Been calling for 2 days 8am-4pm trying to get reinstated for installment plan. Keeps saying call volumes are high to call back later and it hangs up. You can't go in anymore for installments, you have to call the non working number. I even left an inquiry on contact us for someone to call me and no one has called. They need to start taking appointments for this bc this phone thing isn't working or come up with a way to do it online yourself or do it through a chat or something bc this phone thing is ridiculous! Then they suspend your lisence and put you in collects costing you more debt than you're already in! Smdh
