I don't normally write reviews.. I've had about 3 or 4 total put in over the years and it's only when it's absolutely terrible or over the top amazing.. This completely deserves the time to have a review in. Drove to this bank from Toronto Canada this morning with my parents - we had quite a number of items that needed to be sorted out.. Walked in with no appointment. We were greeted by a lady (might have been the Branch Manager) and were advised not to worry, they would try to squeeze us in as soon as possible. Within a handful of mins we were called in by another lady (Fawn L.). This lady was absolutely amazing. I know it hurts me to say this but she makes Canadian Customer Service feel like amateur hour (speaking from my experience). The level of professionalism and attitude she has is unmatched. She took the time and absolutely went way above and beyond to help us with what we needed. Don't mean to bash Canadian Customer Service.. we're known for great service, but this was at another level. Thank you Fawn L. and team for your help this morning!! very much appreciated..

This is the worst bank ever! I deposit a certified check and still have to wait 9 days for it to clear. I deposit a personal check from a customer and it clears in one day. I get charged a fee if I deposit cash over a certain amount. For heavens sake your a flipping bank and a cash deposit is a problem. It is always busy and I always have to wait. This bank makes every so complicated. I hate this bank! I am moving my account elsewhere.

I came to this BOA location to get a notarized copy of document for a visa application. The online booking system showed no appointments available for the next few weeks, so I decided to walk in. I was told by a receptionist claiming herself to be a Notary Public that she can’t do a notarized copy because notarization requires signature. She told me what I was looking for is a “certified copy” which didn’t involve a signature. She told me I should go to UPS to get the “certified copy”. I showed her the list of documents required by the embassy where it clearly stated “notarized copy” is needed. She still wouldn’t do it and asked me to go to UPS to get the “certified copy”. I gave up. Oh. Did I mention that all of these conversations happened while I was at the very front door without any privacy and people walking pass by constantly? I went to M&T bank later and got a notarized copy without any problem. I had to write “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”, dated, and signed. The Notary Public then signed and stamped. I was treated much nicer at M&T too. I was welcomed by two staff members. I had my own semi-private room while the notarization took place. I would never go to BOA for a notary service anymore. It’s a completely waste of time and make you feel bad about yourself as if you are an idiot for not knowing the difference between a “certified copy” and a “notarized copy”. Obviously, the person at BOA knows how to do a notarized copy as a Notary Public. Ironically, I am a “Preferred Rewards Gold Member” at BOA because it’s where I kept my direct deposits in. I didn’t use M&T bank as much as BOA. I probably should consider changing my primary banking account to M&T.

Not bad so far . I don't trust banks but have not had any issues. Better than key bank
