Amazing staff amazing park and well kept ! The only problem is locals illegally break in to steal trout and or allowing their kids to trespass into the conservation area.

Beautiful small park to enjoy with the kids or a loved one. Hike, enjoy the scenery or you can go inside the house and look at the interesting exhibits.

I suppose due to.covid they had to make changes to the kids/community room. They had limited materials for kids to play with. Liked the pre covid set up much better.

Beautiful scenery and love the trails never knew you can fish there but I assume you need a permit of course wish I could see the old house but Im sure it'll be a lovely experience you do have to pay to enter and it's 8 dollars when we went tho supposedly some days are off make sure to bring bug spray just in case due to ticks and bugs

Restroom is in museum building..
No bikes allowed
No sure but I'd assume you inquire at the entrance to the park
Not sure. I did not see any cyclists when I was there.
Take the train to Smithtown station and then uber or taxi to the park. The park is only a few miles from the station. Enjoy!
No but you can camp at blydenburg county park just to the south.
It's a state park, open to the public, so I would think you can take sweet sixteen photos. You can call the park at (631) 265-1054 to check. The home dates back to colonial times. The park is one of four NYS nature preserves encompassing over 500 scenic acree. An early happy sweet 16.
