I was hired and did a one day job at a library and I was told return my uniform I’m terminated without any explanation as I pleaded asking why am I being fired. Fast fwd with new management I called it the hr manager became very rude once I gave him my information. It is indeed the worst company to ever work for. The Account Managers are not a very respectable human being, same with HR, even the VP himself would try to avoid conversation with you. They would drain you. Also most of the dispatchers are so rude and not very understanding especially the overnight dispatcher Rosas or whatever her name is DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!!

GARBAGE!!!!! THIS company has decent contracts and locations. This would make you want to stay. Dispatch and management hold firing people over their heads for minor stuff. On your second day you are expected to know everything or.... Your told i can't work with you. Your just not getting it. Then they make you work double shifts for conservative days with little sleep until you quit. Run , they dont like to pay for time worked. SO CALLED 'HR' GUY NAME MELVIN HARRIS WOWWWWW THE WORST EVER. RUDE AND NASTY ATTITUDE.

Security Industry works as per client's requests. They are the ones that provide the security companies with their budget and Security companies provide the human resources as per their budget. This is not Winfield, thisnis the whole industry. Minimum rate in NYC is $15.00/hr

Dont go to work at Winfield. Ita not a bad company but you will be stuck at a low paying site with no benefits or some high cost low coverage insurance. Go to a company like guardian or allied that pay their officers 18 to 25 to start, real options to advance and great benefits.
Mostly that's needed is coverage for shelters. There are some sitting positions at the trade schools that they cover. I use to be a dispatcher there and the main problem there is communication. If you are looking for a company that you can rack up on hours that's the place. The checks are always correct but dont expect top dollar.
You should get your ged cause it could help you if you apply for something else. Why don't you try getting it through workforce 1 or another place
