My 3 boys have been receiving speech therapy from Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center. All the therapists have been amazing and Liza is an awesome Speech therapist who goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this center.

They really helped my daughter they took her from not even being able to answer questions to being able to answer questions and talking in complete sentences…. To be honest I think they helped her too damn much!!! Lol she never stops talking now!!!!

I took my 95-year old mother to Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center because she was having hearing problems. Dr. Stempl is the doctor who treated her. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Stempl in the way she patiently and professionally treated my mom and fitted her for hearing aids. Follow up visits have been just as great. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Yes, we do accept donations of use hearing aids. And we typically pass these donations along to a hearing aid manufacturer, such as Starkey, which gives the gift of hearing to people in need in more than 100 countries.

do you take Medicaid and medicare for hearing aids

Hello Mary! Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. We accept Medicaid for children and young adults up to age 21. Medicaid typically covers the cost of the hearing test and hearing aids for these individuals. We also accept Medicare for older adults; however, this typically only covers the cost of the hearing test and not the hearing aids. Please let us know if you have any questions!
