The good: Selection and ordering from the salesman was very good. They offered quality materials (Owens-C Duration) at a very good price. The scheduling was fast. The local company that actually did the job was very good and careful. Good cleanup. The bad: Transform, the company, is very harsh and bad to deal with. I recommend avoiding them, especially the NJ office. At the start, they demanded to look into our bank a/c and credit card to see if we had enough money for this modest job, and to prove it. NEVER in 40 years have we had such intrusiveness from a contractor. Then, at the end, when the job had been completed in darkness and we could neither inspect to see if it was really done nor to check that they had cleaned up properly, we needed to look the following morning to check, an appropriate step before signing a form that warned clearly: do not sign until you are satisfied the job is completed. However, the NJ office of Transform, headed by Chris, DEMANDED that we sign the form AND pay IMMEDIATELY within five minutes. They THREATENED to send debt collectors. NEVER have we had such disgraceful behavior.
