Do I need a license to fish here? anybody know?

Third time in a row I've come at 7:00 a.m. when it's supposed to open and the ranger hasn't showed up to open the gate until 8:00. Or later. So freaking annoying. Philadelphia can do better.

I have come here for jogging, fishing, walks, and photography. Depending on when you come and what time you come you can talk with people who photograph wild life or fishermen. I do know their has been a bunch of people that know that their is a pair of bald eagle in this park and in early spring you could see their nest with one of the eagle protecting the nest while the other went and hunt. This place is small enough to enjoy a small hike and the park staff do a great job getting majority of the trash for private or public events.

From November 1st to march 31st the park closes at 6pm From April 1st to october 31st the parl closes at 9pm. The staff at the park comes by with a speaker telling you to leave.
You shouldn't go too deep because of the currents but other then that just know it is at your own risk.
(I think)If it is 10 plus people you will need a permit. I have always seen the staff their at the beginning of the day and at the end when the park is closing with a park and recreation vehicle.
For this amount of people I believe you will need a permit or something and if you have any questions you can ask the staff at the beggining of the day(7am) or at the end of the day(9pm or 6pm depending of the day light savings.
Yes but there are picnic areas so i would be careful.
Make sure u get there real early if it's on the weekend , I lived 1 mile from there for 50 yrs n trust me it's really hard to get either of the 2 pavilions unless you get there by 7am if not earlier! Never ever had any problems there but do not go to Linden Ave! It's terrible there! Behind the prisons is really nice n never a problem
Depending on the amount of people here.
Normal time so far
Yes
