My dad lives alone in a unit there. He is 74 years old. Earlier this year he had a stroke and was hospitalized for several days. Nurses found bed bugs on him and in his cloths. We reported the issue to the housing authority. Dad said a guy came to check who left a few traps a week or so after he got home. That was 3 months or so ago. Today we are at the ER for another issue. There are bite marks and scabs from scratching all over my dad’s arms and his cloths are literally crawling with the things. I asked him about the extermination and he told me nothing was done after the traps were set. I feel terrible because I had no idea it was so bad. That’s on me. I will call first thing tomorrow and hopefully someone will help us this time.

There is absolutely No insulation in these apartments walls the windows are completely not weather sufficient my apartment feels like an ice box They definitely need to Prioritize these apartments just because it's housing doesn't mean we shouldn't live Decent and comfortable
