Awesome camp ground. Beautiful views of lake Superior. Good place for kids to stay with a large play ground and swing set. Very close to stores and restaurants.

Over all nice place with views of Lake Superior. Spaces were a little tight, making it difficult to get in some of them. Showers and bathrooms were okay. Convenient to town, but some road noise from the main highway.

I fell in love with this campgrounds last year. So much so that I swung by to see my special site when on the shore this year even when staying in a hotel elsewhere. …

When the State Parks are full this is a good place to stay cause it's right on Lake Superior & there's a beach & park close. A little further is the lighthouse & old historic trains. Multiple hook up types for campers, a few spots for tents

The older bathroom in the 80/90 section was torn down and replaced in 2019, early 2020.
You can talk to the lake county chamber of commerce. Ive left my car in their lot for 4 days at a time with their permission to hike the superior hiking trail. I would email them and ask. Its right next the camp ground.
Absolutely! Our dogs need vacations too.
Yes and they opened up a new tent only area across the street last year. Otherwise there are tent sites in the first area. They all have tree names like Maple or Oak. You can also setup at the numbered sites.
Yes they do. "Burlington Bay Campground has 66 sites with water and electric hook-ups; 36 sites with water, electric and sewer hook-ups; and 34 sites with water, sewer and 50 amp electric hook-ups."
There are boats in sites. But no place that I know of to launch them by the campground. There is a boat launch closer to town.
The shoulders are fairly wide up the shore, and I've seen people do it, should be fine. There are sections of paved trails occasionally too, search for Gitchi-Gami State Trail.
I haven't seen any but if you call them they can tell you for sure.
You could bring everything to the shower house/bathroom to plug in and make coffee.
You might want to call them directly, or go to reserveamerica.com Reserve America is the site that this campground uses to manage their reservations. Search under "City of Two Harbors, Burlington Bay Campground" as the campground is managed by the municipality. Good luck!
You should call, I'm not sure the campground staff monitor this review page.
I believe so. But best call to make sure
Should be fine. Loads of sites. A lovely place to camp.
It's just a couple blocks to downtown two harbors. Maybe check and see what they have for transportation in two harbors. Maybe uber?
The entire campground has WiFi. We were just there and had no problem except sometimes at night, probably when everyone is in their campers using it.
Check their website. Awesome service. Great location/views. Fun beach to relax and/or rock hunt.
Definitely call and talk with them. Super helpful, nice folks. They'll help you sort it out. Nice place. Great views, and the North Shore is always great!
No honey wagon. There are a few local services that will help you out.
Call or check out their website.
Yes. There are two sides. They just build new shower house at top of hill.
Look for Burlington Bay Campground on the internet for the address. When driving north out of town on hwy 61 the campground is on the right just past tourist information building and across from the Lakeview National Golf Course which is on the left.
