Its 11:45am, Saturday June 4th. South Roanoke post office door is locked although sign on door states Saturday hours are 10am to 12pm. Knocking did not bring anyone to door.

My apartment complex (The Summit) has asked this branch to drop our packages at our door. The mail person refuses and sticks a note in our box to show up to retrieve. This is ridiculous as our apartment complex is the ONLY one in the Roanoke area who does not receive packages at our door. When you have to rush down during your work hours you are met with a rude man behind the counter who refuses to hear your complaints. Try calling, its impossible to reach anyone with authority. What can we do to have a change??? Something has to change!!!

Funny, I came here to post about my horrible experience with Bryan. Seems ALL the negative reviews are in response to him. The service we received was beyond poor, apathetic and he attempted nothing to resolve our issue. We may have interrupted his nap. This individual does not belong in an atmosphere dealing with people. I would avoid this USPS and USPS in general. Avoid!!

How long does it take to send a letter from new Jersey to Roanoke

I would allow 5 days. The processing center closed in Roanoke, so now our mail is routed through Greensboro and takes about twice as long as it used to.

What is the form that I need to have the postperson to bring my mail down the steps to my door. I am handicapped and recently had a stroke and it is hard for me to climb the steps to the apt. mailboxes. Thanks
