Brand new location for this 38 year old church. Very, very welcoming. The leaders go out of their way to make you feel like family. 1 hr Sunday School in sanctuary with youth having own classes, everyone joins together for Worship service.

Pastor Brandon Hardy and Bethel Baptist Church are one of Salem, Oregon's best kept secrets. But it really should not be a secret. This church loves the Lord, they love their city, their state and their country. But most importantly---they want to reach the World with the Gospel! I had never heard of this church before attending it last week. The Christ-honoring music; inspiring, but convicting message; the spirit of the church---all of these things would lead me to attend again if I ever am passing through Salem. You need to give them a visit---this church and Pastor will be a blessing to you!

My wife and I have been visiting for four weeks. The church members are friendly and very welcoming. We also enjoy the services. We never leave feeling unfed. The music is good old fashioned hymns and true doctrine is preached with passionate ferver. We also like that there is an old fashioned invitation and the altar is open at the end of the service if God is dealing with you The church has standards and lives by them. It is a church that my wife and I have been looking for.
