Cross Care nursing home is not fit for anyone. The food is terrible. Theft of personal property is stole regularly. The staff is incompetent at best. Don't put anyone that you care about in there. Do not believe anything they say. It should be closed the management should be put in jail

I had been looking for the perfect place to put my mom and from the first phone call I knew Cross Care was the place! I was able to go in a tour the day after I called. Within a week, my mom had a bed. The staff is so hard working! My mom is so happy and I know I have found the perfect place for her! I highly recommend if you are needing a place to put your loved one! You can be rest assured that they will get the best care!

Caring, knowledgeable staff with low turnover. I learned the hard way not to be seduced by a fancy chandelier and piano in the lobby...yes Cross Care is short on frills but they have what counts, which is a staff that is there year after year so they really know the residents and can tell when something changes. We had a wonderful experience with them for four years, until our mom passed. I would recommend them above any other facility in Jacksonville, including much more expensive options, and I know that from experience.
